Which all helps to ripen the grapes in the areas finely balanced climate. Claude’s brother Philippe carefully manages the vineyards throughout the year, cultivating, protecting, maintaining and then deciding on the ideal time to harvest. During harvest their local pickers and porters reunited in another race against time and the weather. Relying on age-old methods, picking is mostly done by hand, thus ensuring the quality of the grapes through careful selection and handling, then only a short distance back to the winery.
Both brothers are involved right throughout the vinification process, maturation, culminating in the ultimate gratification of blending the parcels and bottling the finished wine. They use bespoke winemaking equipment and local knowledge and skills that have been progressively acquired over several generations. Resulting in a wine expressing its unique terroir and an attention to detail that only centuries of tradition can deliver. Throughout every stage their philosophy focuses on preserving the essence of the fruit parcels, its fragrant aromas and their soft, delicate summer fruit characters.

On the palate you find gun-flint, mineral characters entwine with exotic fruits like mango, guava, papaya, along with citrus and white honeysuckle notes. The palate is full and engaging, with a hint of dried spice and natural acidity giving the developing wine an elegant, lingering finish.
